Most of us grow a little more conservative as we age. Once the Millenials are fully integrated into the workforce and find, as far as their retirement and health care is concerned, they "own it," they may embrace the "it's my money and I want to keep it" mentality.

That's sure how it went for me. As a GenXer (ugh), I would have scoffed if, in the 1980's, anyone had said that I would soon find Repubs less odious than Dems. That difference is narrowing these days, however.

That's a good question. Frankly, like all polling, it's open to some interpretation.

The research indicates the Gen-xers are more conservative and pessimistic. The pollsters leave the impression that the political era they came to maturity dictates their outlook. The Millennials are progressive because they became politically aware during the Clinton years.

Most of us grow a little more conservative as we age. Once the Millenials are fully integrated into the workforce and find, as far as their retirement and health care is concerned, they "own it," they may embrace the "it's my money and I want to keep it" mentality.
