Funny, but when Obama started his candidacy I thought his extemporaneous speaking was dreadful, full of awkward pauses, lots of ahs, and always looking away from his interviewer. But lately, he gotten better at that – not great but better. He doesn’t drop the end of his sentences when speaking extemporaneously.

Obama's habit of swallowing the ends of his sentences drives me nuts! As a trained actor, one of the first things I learned is to not do that! It's a public speaking no-no. I don't think it means he's insincere, I think it just means he's never been trained in public speaking. I'm surprised none of his staff has pointed this out to him.
