There are few folks, other than GOP partisans, who think Lamont's victory is bad for the Dems. It certainly presents challenges, but only ones different from what a Lieberman victory would have presented. Lieberman seems to have done in the last weekend what he should have done earlier -- address the war issue. That alone probably got him some votes. And I wonder if some folks in the earlier polls weren't trying to send Joe a message even if they really weren't planning to vote for Lamont. The polls swung wildly, so a 4% victory isn't a thrashing but it's a clear admonishment to Lieberman and the "go along to get along" Democratic philosophy.
What did you think of CO-7?

I was surprised that Lieberman got so close. That's probably bad for the Dems. He may still be viable in November. I wonder if he'll be able to raise money as an independent candidate.
